Just a quick update to let you know that we have been a victim of the recent COVID surge and it has impacted our ability to get product out the door. You all should have received your pedals by now, but, unfortunately, most are still being built, packaged, and boxed for shipping due to lack of personnel to get the work done.
No one wants to get your pedals to you more than we do. We are back on track this week and hopefully you will be getting notified of your FedEx tracking number soon. Thank you for being extra patient.

Today concluded the Vectus Sport Kickstarter campaign, and I wanted to thank you for helping us reach 294% above our fundraising goal!
Here is what happens now:
Your credit card has been (or will be shortly) charged for the purchase (pledge) you made on our campaign site. Kickstarter allows for 2 weeks to correct any payment problems or difficulties, and then, if all is in order, a questionnaire (called a "Survey" by Kickstarter and Backerkit) will be sent out to you asking for your shipping address, and for your selection of sizes and colors for any hats and shirts you purchased (if any).
We allow for 7 days to receive back those surveys, then we ship you your product(s). If all goes as planed that would mean a Dec. 4th ship date, or shortly thereafter.

Hi Vectus backers—just a quick note to let you know that production on the pedals is going well and is schedule to be completed by the end of November. That means we expect to start shipping your “rewards” by early to mid December. Here’s a quick overview of how the process will unfold over the next several weeks:
Nov. 12: The Vectus Kickstarter campaign ends. This is when Kickstarter will charge your credit card for your donation or purchase. If any payment issues are encountered, Kickstarter may wait up to two weeks to charge your card to process potential changes or corrections to your payment information (for example, updating an expired credit card number).
Nov. 26: Kickstarter transfers the funds to Vectus Sport. At this point, we will send out a "survey" asking for your SHIP TO address, along with details (if needed) about your purchase (hat or shirt, color, sizes, etc.). Unfortunately, there is no way to do this earlier; this is a limitation of the Kickstarter process. On the bright side, this survey also gives you the opportunity to purchase additional products if you wish. To help everyone receive their rewards in a reasonable amount of time, please return the surveys within seven days (one week).
Dec. 4: Once all surveys are in and the ship to addresses have been verified, we will your items.
One quick note: the survey will not come directly from Vectus but from a company call Backerkit, so please don’t ignore that e-mail. (We’ll send you a heads-up a few days before the survey goes to remind you it will be coming from Backerkit). You won’t need to create a Backerkit account to complete the form; just click on the link in the invitation that leads to your personal survey. Remember, it’s important that you complete the survey as quickly as possible so we can process your rewards (products).
One last thing: if you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey e-mail or, if you don’t have the e-mail, simply request the link under "Lost your survey?" on our Backerkit project page (which won’t be available until the surveys go out).
